An Akron man was sentenced to prison for a DUI crash that left one child dead and another paralyzed for life. The senselessness of the pedestrian accident and the lifetime consequences for the vicitim of the DUI driver created a tragically emotional courtroom scene. So often the cruel irony is that the DUI driver walks from the crash virtually uninjured while the innocent victims suffer life altering injuries.
