Consumers Can Hold Manufacturers Accountable

Comments Off

An ordinary consumer has the right and the power to hold powerful corporations accountable when they receive defective, substandard, or faulty goods or products. Recently, a number of farmers filed suit against very powerful agricultural corporations when they received feed that sickened and killed their livestock.

Consumer claims serve two purposes, despite what independently wealthy conservative squawk boxes may tell you: consumer claims compensate injured consumers, and consumer claims serve as a market force to encourage corporations to make certain their produicts are fit and safe for the public.
