Insurance Should Pay in One Vehicle Crashes

Comments Off

Tragically, some family car rides end in a terrible motor vehicle accident. Sadly, there are occasions where the driver in the family vehicle may have caused the crash, and a family member in the vehicle is injured or killed as a result.

In these instances, families should file a claim on their insurance policy. If the insurance company should attempt to deny the claim, the family should consult with an attorney and have the policy language scrutinized. There are several instances where the basis for the company’s denial of the claim has no supporting language in the insurance policy.

Truly, no family ever thinks that money would make the tragedy better. But compensation from the coverage is every policyholder’s right, and the family can always create scholarships, or charitable contributions, as a means of making something positive come from the tragic event.
